    Dumb thing people here do

I dont like it when people ask for suggestions and some dumbass leaves a link to a google (or anything) search for that topic.

void main() is the single most stupid things people do in here. sometimes I think it can be justified with a google link but it probably is over used.

Sometimes when people figure out what they did wrong they just post"Don't worry I got it working" and no explenation on what they did to fix it.

I have not seen many people openly admit when they been wrong, I think that is kinda arrogant.

I spell really bad, I need to get better at that.

I agree with Muttski. Why should I bother searching for info when I can get all you suckers to do it for me [\irony]

LMAO, the problem is that sometimes you don't quite know what words to look for on googles.
There are some real morons in this world please do not become one of them, do not become a victim of moronitis. PROGRAMMING IS THE FUTURE...THE FUTURE IS NOW!!!!!!!!!

The one thing your missing is that www.some stupid tutorial.com answers the question instead of someone haveing to retype it 100 million times. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=clear+the+screen+c%2B is also a valid response when it generates a list of information all pertaining to the topic and will also answer the question. It also basically states that the person recieving the 'link' answer should probably consider getting off there arse and actually doing something (anything!) to help themselves before asking the question.

I rather enjoy the people who leave references to google searches and tutorials. The tutorial normally explains more than the person would have anyways and it saves them a lot of typing. The google engine is so vast (as are programming topics/words) so it is good to see what words get results and what ones dont. Often times I've searched pages and pages of google on a topic and not found anything. Then I ask here and someone else searches but uses different words and gets good results. Two brains are much better than one.

    >flame suit

i assume you meant flame _retardant_...

and i agree with bubba... a lot of times i only end up using the 'net for this site and flashdaddee... and i spend hours staring at the screen anticipating someone to reply to my aktif or something... [which is rare]... but links lead you to more interesting things and different things, which is great!

btw, anyone know a nice classical guitar message board bychance? like this one! thanks!
