Hey guys, i have a soundblaster 128 live and i have tested this with it and many other sound cards.
Unfortunatly i am still stuck on dial up for the moment, and when i am useing winamp, musicmatch, etc it will start making my music really staticy when it dials.
But this is only mp3s, cds work fine. Its done this with 98 and XP, i have 128mb ram, but it never did it with 64mb.....any ideas?

Try the winamp forums, I got a patch for winamp from there that fixed one of my problems.
Also, ensure you're running the latest drivers for your sound card, video card/monitor, modem etc etc.

i should have mentioned i tried that...sorry.
I used to think it was a ram prob, that maybe my dialup is hogging resources and the SC loses quality as fault.
hmm... maybe a resource conflict, or bus problem? Have you tried moving the cards around?

Yea its on COM 3 and was on 2 and 4.
Its also got no conflicts from bus or IRQ....
