Build the ultimate home-enhancing app for a chance to win USD $15,000!

This article is sponsored by Intel AppUpSM developer program

The Intel AppUpSM Developer Program has partnered with Dixons Retail to kick off the search for a netbook app that enables users to creatively interact with products from one of four sites - UK-based Dixons, Currys, PC World, and Etsy.com - in a home context. The app could be anything - a game, a 3D design tool, maybe even something incorporating augmented reality. The app should be able to link into real-time product data from one (or more!) of these retailers. The winner will be judged on how well it engages users and on the level of interaction it creates with the products. Complete contest rules can be found here, and you can get started here.
