    Ramones!! Man it's been so long!!!
    Speaking of punk, do you remember:
    -circle jerks
    -the exploited
    -suicidal tendencies
    -the misfits
    -sex pistols
    -butthole surfers

    Ha!

    Sadly, I was overexposed to 60's/70's music growing up and can't even tolerate even the best ones any more ( even pink floyd )

    These days I hardly ever listen to music (nor watch tv). It breaks my concentration when I'm programming. Which means the only song I ever listen to is the "Sound of Silence"...
    Code:
    #include <cmath>
    #include <complex>
    bool euler_flip(bool value)
    {
        return std::pow
        (
            std::complex<float>(std::exp(1.0)),
            std::complex<float>(0, 1)
            * std::complex<float>(std::atan(1.0)
            *(1 << (value + 2)))
        ).real() < 0;
    }

    i love the circle jerks, and the exploited. Sex pistols i think are way overrated. I hate their music but respect them for what they did for the punk scene. Completely hate the misfits too. I'm not too big on the suicidal tendencies, but someone gave me one of their cd's a while back and it was decent. As far as pink floyd, hell it's the what 2000's now, and they're still way overplayed ( :

    Sebastiani and hostensteffa, familiar with any of the following?:

    cock sparrer
    peter and the test tube babies
    blanks 77
    combat 84
    blitz
    angelic upstarts
    cockney rejects
    slaughter and the dogs
    the business
    the clash

    I don't suspect you've heard of any (except for the Clash), but if you have, GOOD FOR YOU. They're all definitely some classy music

    If I had to pick a single band, it would probably have to be Pink Floyd, as I have them on most often, but I go for weeks without them some times. It is very much a mood thing.

    Single band would have to be Guns and Roses. And the best album, in my eyes, is appetite(sp) for destruction.

    Also Genesis when Peter Gabriel was still in the band. The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway record album's liner notes alone were worth the price.
    Early Pink Floyd, Umma Gumma, Meddle, etc, although Animals was good too.

    I love pink floyd but even i cant listen to Ummagumma!
    They must have had some bad acid before writing that album.
    Meddle on the other hand is excellent.
